Ongoing photographic series documenting the heap as a form, and exploring similarities between heaps, islands, mountains and other physical structures.

The heap is usually a constructed grouping of objects, whether created by humans, animals or the environment. They can be accidental or purposeful, evidence of collapse or growth, and can interrupt or organise.

This series continues to inform current projects exploring islands, geography and how we understand and relate to place.
